We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Corporate Director of Operations to drive operational excellence, multi-property standardization, and aggressive profitability across our urban portfolio.POSITION SUMMARYThe Corporate Director of Operations is responsible for leading, standardizing, and optimizing overall operations across all urban properties within the hotel group. The primary objective is to ensure seamless, high-efficiency guest experiences aligned with global brand standards while driving operational throughput, revenue optimization, and strategic business goals.This role acts as a strategic corporate partner to property General Managers, enhancing portfolio performance through direct oversight, rigorous operational audits, and strict control of urban KPIs, with a sharp focus on maximizing GOP (Gross Operating Profit) and managing high-frequency business demand.

This role is strictly focused on fast-paced urban corporate hotels; candidates with predominantly vacation resort backgrounds will not be considered.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESUrban Multi-Property Oversight: Supervise and optimize fast-paced operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and high-volume Food & Beverage (executive club lounges, corporate restaurants, bars, and intensive banquet/meeting facilities).Corporate & MICE Operations: Ensure property operations are engineered to flawlessly execute high-volume corporate events, congresses, international summits, and quick-turnaround business banquet services.Revenue & Velocity Optimization: Analyze daily financial performance indicators (P&L, GOP, RevPAR, ADR, TREVPAR) and develop immediate operational action plans to mitigate weekend occupancy drops and capture corporate business travelers.Commercial Alignment: Partner with Corporate Sales to ensure property operations effectively deliver on high-volume Corporate RFP contracts, global airline crew agreements, and tight check-in/check-out windows.Brand & Quality Compliance: Implement, enforce, and audit international brand standards (Marriott, IHG, etc.) across the urban portfolio, ensuring top-tier corporate guest satisfaction scores.Performance Mentorship: Support, audit, and mentor General Managers, ensuring strict alignment with aggressive annual budgets, city-center cost control, and productivity targets.Labor & Union Management: Manage complex urban workforce dynamics, productivity metrics, and city-specific labor relations to optimize operational efficiency.Crisis & Infrastructure Management: Oversee vertical building infrastructure maintenance (elevators, central HVAC, urban security) and lead corporate crisis management protocol in high-pressure environments.PROFILE REQUIREMENTSEducationBachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Master’s degree (MBA or Hospitality Management) is highly desirable.ExperienceMinimum of 8–10 years in the upscale/luxury hospitality industry, with a strict focus on urban, business-centric, or city-center properties.At least 3–5 years in a multi-property operational leadership role or as a General Manager of a high-volume corporate city hotel.Proven track record managing complex corporate accounts, high-capacity corporate banquets, and international hotel brand frameworks.Strictly Excluded: Candidates whose primary multi-site or leadership experience is rooted in vacation resorts, all-inclusive properties, or leisure destination management.LanguagesFully bilingual in English and Spanish with exceptional executive communication skills (required).TECHNICAL SKILLSDeep expertise in vertical city-hotel operations (front office flow, business services, urban high-volume F&B).Advanced financial acumen, including meticulous P&L analysis, rapid-response cost control, and CPOR (Cost Per Occupied Room) optimization.Expertise in corporate hospitality metrics: GOP, RevPAR, TrevPAR, ADR, and corporate guest loyalty indices.Advanced mastery of hotel management systems (PMS, POS, and corporate reporting tools).CORE COMPETENCIESHigh-velocity urban strategic vision and business acumen.High-impact, assertive leadership for corporate environments.Analytical thinking, rapid decision-making, and crisis resilience.Aggressive results-driven and cost-conscious mindset.Executive communication, negotiation, and stakeholder influencing skills.WHAT WE OFFEROpportunity to lead operations within a prestigious, internationally aligned urban hotel group.Competitive executive compensation package.Corporate benefits and professional development opportunities within a market-leading hospitality group.
